    Default Which scanner to use for Providence?

    Can anybody tell me the best scanner to buy to start listening to Providence Fire. Thank you

    The PRO-106 is on sale at Radio Shack for $399.00. This belongs under "Scanning Equipment" thread.

    I moved this to it's own thread, which can belong in either the Scanning Equipment or in the Rhode Island forum. Either one is fine.

    The only other thing is I hope your within 15 miles of the city, not the easist system to monitor.
