Hearing some pretty nonchalant traffic between "Providence Base" and "Ground Team One" just now. Base asked if the team was going to McDonalds, so I'm guessing this must be a drill, or hoping it is. The ELT should probably trump the Big Mac in the priority category...

I am down in New London for the weekend and was picking up the A/C quite well. It was hard to tell if it was a Drill or Not

Being that 148.1500 and 100.0 Hz was used [simplex] that Wing has not converted to the new Narrow band channel as Simplex on the Repeater outputs if banned under the narrowband transition. There will be descrete channels for Air-Air [not A/C AM] and Air-Ground

Wonder if they will be back up this am....

On Saturday, MA Wing was supporting and event on the Cape and using the Bourne [148.1250] Rptr instead of going to direct. Caught them all the way down into CT/RI on Saturday.

Never heard anymore on the ELT, maybe a ground team found it.
