    i just heard talkgroup 35024 Mass haz-mat south announce the spill as well as barnstable county control unknown why i would hear comms for the cape when its closer to boston??? nothing on MEMA yet

    That talk group is Fire Marshal South. The reason you hear Barnstable County Control announce it is because the state is divided into regions or areas. Any incident in Bristol, Norfolk, Barnstable or Plymouth County will be announced by all and hazardous materials teams will be dispatched as needed.
