South Portland on Portland 800 System

South Portland Fire has begun using talkgroup # 12848 on the City of Portland 800 MHz. system. Although it's a little hard to tell due to signal strength issues at my location, it sounds to be a simulcast of their VHF (154.43) dispatch traffic. This is presumably part of the run up to South Portland's long rumored switch to the Portland system.

So far, this is the only SP traffic heard on 800. No PD or DPW communications have been monitored as yet, although there have been recent unattended "wildcard" hits on the following groups in more or less the same range:

12480
13376
16496

Possibly some testing going on.

It looks like the PD is using 12880, being simulcast on VHF.

Just curious if anyone has any more information on S Portland move to Portland trunked system, especially what talk groups S Portland FD is using.

Radio Reference is indicating that Portland TRS has been rebanded can anyone confirm?

I'll be in that area on business later this month.
